Discouraging news from the market end, in light of the financial crisis-a rare painting by the 18th century Italian notable Sebastiano Ricci was left unsold at Heritage auction this past week. This may be a sign of things to come, however the initial reserve of $500,000 USD for the work seems a bit high.
